Islamophobic Incident in London Ontario Killing Four Innocents
CMPJ is heartbroken by the senseless, Islamophobic murder of four members of an entire family in London, Ontario. We offer our condolences to the families loved ones. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Rajioon. Our hearts are also with the surviving family member, a 9-year-old little boy who is experiencing an unimaginable tragedy.
This horrific attack has sent shockwaves of fear throughout the Canadian Muslim community. For too long, Muslims in Canada have been begging elected officials and police services to take real action against Islamophobia. No Canadian should have to be afraid to practice their religion, but the reality is Muslim Canadians are afraid. We call on all political leaders to address the crisis of Islamophobia in Canada.
